Who We Are
Phoenix NM develops tiny home communities rooted in the landscapes and rhythms of New Mexico. Founded by Kelly Barker — a longtime Las Cruces resident and community developer — Phoenix NM exists because quality, attainable tiny home communities simply weren't here yet.
We're not a dealer. As a Champion Homes builder partner, we originate communities, source homes directly, and manage the development process from concept to keys. Our homes are ANSI 119.5 certified park models — purpose-built for community living.

The Developer
Kelly Barker has called Las Cruces home for fifteen years — a Midwest transplant who fell in love with southern New Mexico and never left. With 25 years of real estate investment experience behind her, she knows how communities are built and how to get things done in a market that moves slowly.
Phoenix NM came out of a personal search. When Kelly started looking for a quality tiny home community in the region — thoughtfully designed, attainably priced, built for the way she actually lives — she found a shortage. The communities weren't here. The developer who understood this market wasn't here.
So she became one.
